Disney will be releasing its first Star Wars standalone film by Gareth Edwards. "Star Wars: Rogue One" will land in theaters on December 16, 2016 while onset photos of Rogue One has been floating on the web for fans to feast on. Anthony Daniels says he will be reappearing in Episode VII: The Force Awakens and shares his thoughts on the lives of original cast members in the star wars series

GRAPEVINE reports on the latest news of the "Star Wars: Rogue One." The utmost secrecy or privacy has been put into action when it came to shooting the film. The most recent was shot at Hjörleifshöfði and Hafursey in Iceland. A landowner in Hjörleifshöfði by the name of Þórir N. Kjartansson, shares that the roads to and from the shooting location were closed. The shooting team in charge of filming in Icelandic locations, True North, has refused to comment on the matter though. It was also in Iceland where the characters Chewbacca and Hans Solo (Harrison Ford) came to shoot for the film "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

SR has shared a few photos from onset locations for "Star Wars: Rogue One." Generally, it shows of a massive battle between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance. Images of a beachfront with troop transports and dead stormtroopers lying around are seen.

Another shows of some of the main casts of Rogue One team with Donnie Yen and Felicity Jones amongst the recognizable ones in the photo.  Speculatively, in the film Rogue One is a group of well skilled characters bunched together whose objective is to covertly take possession of the original plans of the Death Star.

In another light of filming of "Star Wars: Rogue One," C-3PO actor Anthony Daniels confirms that he will be back for Episode VII: The Force Awakens. Daniels shares that the lives of some of the original cast members have been good compared to the others according to The Week.

Anthony points out that of Harrison Ford in particular, where he is quoted saying "Harrison was just brilliant, he just made me smile - I'm smiling at the memory. He's 72 but he's still got the charm, the charisma." He was pointing out about Ford's role as Han Solo in particular where there seemed to be no change in his appeal at present as he was in his thirties. But it's not all good surfing in the past year for Ford though says Daniels. Ford was shooting in Pinewood studios when he broke his ankle. Then he almost died when he got involved in a plane crash.

Anthony Daniels continues with the life of Mark Hamill who played the young Like Skywalker. "Poor Mark, he was a young lovely looking lad when he was first Luke Skywalker and now... well..." he was quoted saying.  As for Carrie Fisher, Daniels says that she is still acting but continues to battle bipolar disorder since the 1970's. Fisher was the one who played the role of Princess Leia when she was 19 years old. Finally he caps off by talking about the bad blood between him and Kenny Baker who played the droid R2-D2. "He's been saying unpleasant things about me. I just don't comment," on Daniel's reaction about Baker's comment to him as the "rudest man I've ever met."

The "Star Wars: Rogue One" will soon be shown in theaters on December 16, 2016. As of this time fans will just have to satisfy themselves on the leaked photos seen in the web. Probably looking up in the lives of former cast members that Anthony Daniels has shared will also suffice at the moment.
