Google is set to hold an event on September 29 in San Francisco to unveil its newest Nexus devices. One is the Huawei-made Nexus handset and the other is the LG Nexus smartphone.

According to IB Times, the Huawei-manufactured Nexus might be the first-ever Nexus smartphone to provide users with 128GB of internal storage. Rumor has it that this handset will come in 32GB, 64Gb, and 128GB variants, but unlikely to have a microSD card slot. The Huawei-made version, tentatively named as Nexus 6P, could cost $50 to $100 at each increased storage level.

Aside from the Huawei-made Nexus, the search engine giant will also unveil a new LG-manufactured Nexus device. This could possibly be called Nexus 5 and will feature a 5.2-inch display and a fingerprint scanner that would rest beneath the protruding camera.

Huawei Nexus is expected to be a new version of the Nexus 6. It will come with a fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C, and feature a comparatively-large display measuring 5.5-inch or 5.7-inch screen. During the Nexus event, Google might also introduce its latest software, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. With this, both the LG and Huawei-made Nexus handsets will be the first set of smartphones running the Android Marshmallow operating system out of the box.

Moreover, the creation of Huawei Nexus is said to be critical particularly for this Chinese multinational networking and telecommunications company. It is the first time that Huawei builds a Nexus device. Thus, this move gives a great push for the company to produce more high-end smartphones as well as to build a brand and receive additional credibility in the Android community for its partnership with Google.

All Nexus users and spectators must get ready for the launching of these Nexus smartphones. The Huawei and LG Nexus smartphones will hit the market any time soon.
