It has been several months since the season 1 of "Daredevil" ended. The fans cannot wait for the next season of more thrills and excitement. However, the question lingers. Will it create a spark for the enthusiasts or will the fire from season 1 ultimately dies out? IB Times earlier pointed out that the fans are expecting a romance because Matt and Karen have a relationship in the comics.

For the non-enthusiasts, the connection between Matt and Karen began when "Daredevil" saved her life. She first fell in love with Daredevil and then later on developed an interest for Matt which is Daredevil's public identity.

Another thing that the new season will offer to its enthusiasts is the rumored entrance of the 'Punisher.'The question remains as to the identity of the 'Punisher' and the role that he will play for the next season. Since no spoilers are out, the rumors continue to pile up.

However, a post from the Christian Post pointed out that Jon Bernthal will be joining Charlie Cox in season 2. He will be playing vigilante superhero 'The Punisher'. In a disclosed shooting image, Bernthal is seen thumping up a man who has a gun.

One thing that fans should look out for is that even the season 1 show runner Steven DeKnight disclosed that this version of the Punisher for "Daredevil" season 2 is very much similar to the Marvel version of the character.

The coming of the Punisher for "Daredevil" season 2 also ensures that more villains are indeed on the way. Cinemablend revealed that antagonist Wilson Fisk also known as the King Pin and Stilt-Man will appear in season 2.

As for the outcome of the season 2, the fans may have to wait for a while "Daredevil" Season 2 will premiere on Netflix in the year 2016.
