In the flurry of movie activities during the autumnal season, Quentin Tarantino's latest film will not participate in the various film festivals that many films are premiering in right now. The Hateful Eight (or H8ful Eight in its trailer) does not intend nor need to go to the festivals as it is one of the big fall movies this year.

According to the Toronto Sun, Tarantino's Hateful Eight is not part of the Toronto International Film Festival, along with several other big name movies. While the TIFF has manages an impressive lineup, missing out on big name movies such as this might have been a sting given its 40th anniversary this year.

Dubbed as the second most powerful next to Cannes, TIFF have explained why the miss of these movies. TIFF Director Peter Handling said that, simply, "a number of those films are not going to any festivals" even if "many festival directors salivated over them." The Hateful Eight falls into this category, however, Tarantino has yet to elaborate on this particular decision.

Meanwhile, in an article by Zimbio, following Tarantino's other Western Django Unchained, he follows his "signature action style with a classic case of whodunit" set in post Civil War Wyoming. Killers brought together during a blizzard, the eight killer characters scramble for plans as someone mysteriously dies in their midst. With just these facts, the Hateful Eight understandably becomes one of the must-see movies in fall of 2015.

In addition to this, its stellar and talented cast is sure to deliver the thriller-action in top notch form. Jennifer Jason Leigh plays a murderer being taken to her death by a bounty hunter played by Kurt Russell. Bruce Dern plays a former Confederate general, while Samuel L. Jackson plays a Union war hero turned bounty hunter.

The Hateful Eight is expected to do well in box office and critical hit like his highest grossing films, Inglorious Basterds and Django Unchained. While waiting for the Christman release of his film, Tarantino fans already want to know what's next, according to Highsnobiety. Tarantino has mentioned being interested in Killer Crow, Double V Vega, Django Unchained/Zorro and Kill Bill 3 among others.

With its absence on film festivals, the Hateful Eight is another highly-anticipated movie from the brilliant Quentin Tarantino. Aptly, this film is also his 8th picture. As mentioned, the film will be released on December 25, 2015, however on select theatres only that has 70 mm film format . Its digital theatre release is on January 8, 2016.
