Many fans are looking forward to the release of Pokemon Z, a sequel to Pokemon X and Y in 2016 a surprise title considering that next year marks the 20th anniversary of the Pokemon franchise. Meanwhile major fresh details have been revealed on SuperMystery Dungeon as it is soon to hit 3DS and is expected to scratch the gamers itch to play a new Pokemon game this year.

A host of hints and leaks have been making the rounds online surrounding the possible launching of Pokemon Z or what others refer to as the Pokemon X and Y sequel in 2016. The newest reveal that has been reported recently was during an interview with Pokemon Company International Director of Consumer Marketing, J.C. Smith at Pokemon 2015 World Championship.

Smith got to talk about Pokémon and could have dropped an exciting hint on what the fans can expect next. When he was asked, "And last but not least, can you just throw a cryptic word out there? Just anything. Something will get me to scratch my head. That, like, in eight months I'll go, 'That's what he was talking about!'"

Smith replied, "Flowers", after taking a long pause.

Smith's cryptic "Flowers" word was interpreted by Nintendo World Report to mean the Eternal Flower Floette which the hackers retrieved in a Pokemon X and Y data mine could appeara in 2016.

iDigital Times, however, also predicted that this new clue could be related to the introduction of Mega Evolutions for the Gen 2 starters; Typhlosion, Meganium, and Feraligatr and mentioned that that flowers is a huge part of Meganium's design.

While no official press release from neither Nintendo nor Pokemon Company has been made, hardcore Pokemon gamers can satiate their wanting for a new Pokemon game to play on their consoles with the soon to be released Super Mystery Dungeon. This new Nintendo title has been confirmed to feature all 720 Pokemons that have been introduced so far in the game including Hoopa where players can choose to be Pikachu or one of the 18 starter Pokemons.
