The mutated ninja brothers are set to come back in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. Principal photography has  finally wrapped up and new characters are set to join the cast in the upcoming sequel.

As reported by Movie News Guide, the upcoming sequel to the hit 2014 film has moved to its post-production stage as it recently finished filming, months after it started in New York and Buffalo last April. Set photos and videos are scarce, however, fans are expecting to see new characters and villains in the franchise.

According to Movie Pilot, new additions to the cast include Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, the vigilante who uses baseball bats, golf clubs, cricket bats, and hockey sticks as some of his weapons. He is a master of stealth, and occasionally gets linked as a love interest to the reporter, April O'Neill.

Aside from Jones, fans are also set to witness Gary Anthony Williams and WWE Fighter, Sheamus, as two of Shredder's henchmen, Bebop and Rocksteady.  In the comics, they are portrayed to be members of the Foot Clan who later got into becoming a mutated warthog (Bebop) and mutated rhino (Rocksteady).

But speaking to Chicago Tribune, former WWE Champion CM Punk revealed that the role of Rocksteady was first offered to him, and spilled a hint about the characters along the way. "I just assumed he's a bigger dude, so they gave it to the big guy. It makes sense. They were looking for two big, muscly bouncer types. (Sheamus) fits the role." CM Punk said.

"I think they end up getting mutated half way through (the film). You didn't hear that from me though." He added. However, it has not been confirmed yet whether the sequel's story will follow the story in the comics.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 cast also includes Alan Ritchson to reprise his role as Raphael, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek/Johnny Knoxville as Leonardo, Noel Fisher as Michaelangelo, Megan Fox as April O'Neill, Will Arnett as Vern Fenwick, and Brian Tee as the Shredder. It is directed by Dave Green and is set to hit theaters in June 03, 2016.
