Reports are circulating that Nikki Reed has alleged insecurity over her husband Ian Somerhalder's friendship with "The Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev. Now that Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder might be heading for a reunion in the show pretty soon, Nikki Reed is reportedly unhappy about it. Fans are speculating that Dobrev's recent rumored breakup with Austin Stowell may have something to do with it.

 Former item Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder ended up their relationship in 2013. They have moved on to other relationships, but rumors are extensive that Reed was still worried that Somerhalder would rekindle his love for her ex- girlfriend. Reports also claimed that Reed allegedly prevented Somerhalder from attending the Teen Choice Awards and accepting an award for the Best Kiss with Dobrev on "TVD". The "Twilight" actress was rumored to fear Somerhalder and Dobrev live kiss for the fans in accepting the award onstage, as reported by International Business Times. And to the fans' surprise, Dobrev, did not even mention Somerhalder in her speech.

On the flip- side, Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell started to keep their relationship private quite as possible. However, KDramaStars claimed that the rumored couple had just decided to call it quits. Ever since the rumored split, Dobrev is reportedly spending more time with her friends.

Since Dobrev and Somerhalder might be heading for a reunion on the show soon, the actor's wife is reportedly jealous and furious about it, according to Youth Health. Speculations also suggest that "TVD" actress' recent rumored breakup with Austin Stowell may have something to do with the upcoming reunion. Rumors claim that Somerhalder is happy that Dobrev and Stowell are now splitting up. And with that, Reed is reportedly angry that her husband is still concerned about his former love, as mentioned in Movie News Guide.

Meanwhile, "The Vampire Diaries" is already filming its seventh season. Even though Dobrev decided to leave the show, her character "Elena" didn't really exit the show. As the show's production decided to keep Dobrev's character alive by making Kai cast a sleeping spell on Elena and linking her life with Bonnie's. Elena would only wake up when Bonnie would end up dying. And to die- hard fans, this only means that there is a possibility for Dobrev to regain her role as Elena when "TVD" finally airs again for its seventh season.

It is still not clear that Dobrev and Stowell took a break from their romantic relationship since the two stars didn't confirm the rumors yet. For now, the all the Vampire drama's fans can do is to wait for the return  of their idols back on their TV screens. Besides, the production finally confirmed that the latest season of "The Vampire Diaries" is set to release on the CW on October 8.
