Every gamer is keeping an eye on any official announcement for No Man's Sky official release date and keep dreaming to get their hands on this quintessential unique indie title to ever be created for the gaming world, in fact, the biggest yet in terms of scale. Despite that it is set on a vague 2015 launch date, a pre-order page has been up, prompting game aficionados that the release is imminent and could possibly catch the fans by surprise anytime soon.

On Amazon UK website is a pre-order page now available for No Man's Sky PC and PlayStation 4 platforms and indicates a price around $73, a lot higher than what gamers normally shell out for a big indie game.

After a number of months that fans haven't heard solid information from the game developer, Hello Games' CEO Sean Murray has recently came out and talked in-depth gameplay details as well as the development of No Man's Sky game.

In an interview with IGN as reported by GameSpot, Murray has revealed that his space exploration adventure game does not simply feature quintillion planets but it includes vast different stars where some will be too difficult to explore.

"We have a variety of different types of star, some of which are super rare, and you'll start to realize they'll tend to offer certain opportunities," he explained. "In the videos already out there, as I zoom through the Galactic Map, you get glimpses of different types, sizes, and colors of stars, and, more interestingly, different formations," Murray stated.

Murray also clarified that the upcoming title will not just be tagged as a space simulation project by directly saying, "The rule we've set ourselves is that it's a game first, not a simulation. Space has to be fun, and everything you find in it should offer interesting ways of playing. So for instance, a black hole could be a really cool gameplay element, but maybe a supernova isn't so much..."

He also confirmed that storms and other weather events will be seen in the game such as Rain, dust storms, snow, blizzards, storms, and a bunch of other things possible including alien weather types, effectively like radioactive and toxic hazards, and atmospheres made from compositions different from that of Earth.

The game creator also discussed the factions featured and confirmed that they'll be procedurally generated just like how majority of the game is. However, each faction will own a unique personal traits and characteristics.

"Factions will become friends with you if you help them out, maybe by defending them against an attack from a warring faction or a pirate attack. Perhaps if you're attacked and they're around, they'll come and help you in return, or maybe they'll give you preferential treatment as a trader," he explained

Unfortunately, Murray is tight lipped when asked about the game's release date. He said that there are things that are beyond his control and bound Hello Games to keep it a secret at the moment.

No Man's Sky is set to arrive simultaneously on PlayStation 4 and PC. Also, Hello Games has recently said that a virtual reality support is being considered for the game.
