US$20 Million Secured by Atlantis Computing in Series D

Last 15th of May, 2013, Atlantis Computing announced the conclusion of its Series D financial infusion round securing US$20 million. The round was headed by Adams Street Partners, a new investor of the company. Earlier investors including Partech International, Cisco Systems and El Dorado Ventures also took part in the round as their way of showing continuous trust to Atlantis Computing. The additional funding will be budgeted for the global expansion of the company.

Board of Director Member of Atlantis Computing and Partner at Adams Street Partners, Dave Welsh disclosed,  "Adams Street Partners has been looking to invest in the growing virtualization market for some time, and we are excited to come on board with Atlantis Computing."

Mr. Welsh further added that,"We were impressed by several aspects of Atlantis Computing's business, including its proven award-winning technology, strong go-to-market partnerships and fast-growing blue-chip customer base. We realized that Atlantis Computing is dramatically impacting the way storage will be consumed in the next generation virtual data center."
