"Crimson Peak" star Tom Hiddleston recently revealed the "very deep connection" the Sharpe siblings have for each other in the upcoming film. Set for an October release, Guillermo del Toro's newest horror flick may feature an incest-ridden storyline.

Guillermo del Torro has already teased the fans that his upcoming horror film will be filled with kinky and unsettling action. But those hints only became clear recently when "Crimson Peak" star Tom Hiddleston further discussed the characters of the movie. "They're a brother and a sister who've been orphaned, and they're in this big old house, and they have a very deep connection," he told IO9. "But there's a lot of other romantic elements in the film, too."

"Crimson Peak" revolves around a crumbling house in a mountainous suburban area where Edith Cushing, a young author, falls for her a man named Sir Thomas Sharpe. After marrying him, she finds out that her husband is not really as charming as he seems to be, leading her into a mansion of horror and blood.  As previously reported, The "Avengers" villain plays the role of Thomas while Mia Wasikowska ("Alice in Wonderland") portrays his opposite, Edith. "A Most Violent Year" actress Jessica Chastain on the other hand,  plays the role of Thomas' sister, Lucille.

Though this does not show blatant incest, it is still considered as something more than familial connection. The said relationship would strangely affect Thomas' relationship with the movie's intended heroine, Edith. Fueling this notion is the unconfirmed reports regarding Hiddleston's intimate scenes with Chastain which floated online recently.  The 33-year-old actor has already teased earlier that his character will be driven by two most powerful forces of nature -sex and death. However, he did not specify whether his on screen sister has something to do with the former one.

Meanwhile, the upcoming film will also star "Pacific Rim" actor Charlie Hunnam. It is directed by Guillermo del Toro from a screenplay he also wrote alongside Matthew Robins. Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Callum Greene and del Toro is producing the movie with Jillian Share as its executive producer.

"Crimson Peak" is expected to hit both 2D theaters and IMAX beginning October 16.
