A&E reality tv show 'Duck Dynasty' is currently airing their episodes for Season 8. As the show getting near to the season finale, many viewers are now questioning its possibility of another season. The network, as well as the crew and cast members of the show are keeping mum about it.

But at the positive side, 'Duck Dynasty' season 9 renewal could happen. If we look into how season 8 has started, it actually ranked first from the rated cable original. According to Zap2it, 'Duck Dynasty' season 8 premiere episode garnered a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating. It was July 23's (Wednesday) highest rated cable original.

The current season, however, has fewer viewers than the previous seasons, noted by TV Overmind. Despite that, the current season has hands to tickle viewers. And still, the ratings could possibly indicate that the potential for another season is high.

In other report, 'Duck Dynasty' crew is currently filming in Lynchburg, particularly in the Hill city and on the Liberty University's campus. Most reports did not indicate if they are filming for the season 8 finale or 9. However, a report from Liberty University told that the cast and crew of A&E's reality series have spent a day on the campus for their "finale episode of Season 9."

The site wrote "season 9" and not "season 8." Perhaps, it could only be a typographical error made by the writer of the university. If not, then, fans of the show will be very happy to know that the crew and cast members are already filming for the upcoming season.
