"Bates Motel" Season 4 will be coming this 2016 and according to the series' executive producer, Kerry Ehrin, there will be no time jump or lapse between the season 3 finale and the season 4 premiere. The plot for the show's fourth season will also showcase more of the darker side of Norman Bates.

Ehrin shared in an interview that "Bates Motel" Season 4 will be picking up right where season 3 left off as there were so many cliffhangers from the finale episode of the previous season, Design & Trend reported.

Just a recap, Season 3 ended with Bradley being killed, Norman killing Bradley but thinking that his mother, Norma Bates, did it, Norma not knowing where his son was going after she told him he should spend some time in a mental health facility, and Emma still on the limbo whether or not she will be getting a lung transplant.

Ehrin also shared that in Season 4, Norma just wants the best for her son so it is possible that the Pineview Sanitarium from season 2 will be shown again.  Although it is very expensive to have someone be admitted in a mental health facility, Norma just wants to fix her son although it will be very difficult for her than it is to Norman, Christian Post reported.

Fans of the show are also eager to see if Season 4 will be showing more of Norma and Sheriff Romero's blossoming romance.

"Bates Motel" Season 4 will also feature the death of a major character but producers of the show did not give away any hint regarding this yet. Season 4 will be much darker for Norman as his transition into a psychopath will be geared towards his evil and bad side, MNR Daily reported.

"Bates Motel" will begin their production for Season 4 later this year and it is scheduled to be back in the small screen this coming 2016. Are you excited to see how Norman will turn into the famous psychopath? Let us know in the comments below!
