Tekken 7 debuted at arcades in Japan six months ago and it means that MarkMan Julio and the Mad Catz crew have been on the streets for quite some time now promoting the game in different gaming events. And this time, it has already landed in selected locations in the United States for its location tests.

Months after the release of its arcade version, fans of Tekken 7 are wondering why there is no schedule yet for its release on consoles and the game is released in a basically obsolete arcade game, as AwpWilliams precisely comments via YouTube.

In the video, he asked, "...why does the production team decided to release the ninth installment of the franchise as an arcade game, whereas arcade game is basically obsolete nowadays?"

Apparently, Bandai Namco's director for Tekken 7, Katsuhiro Harada, has an answer to this perplexing question and it appears that the developer is focusing in polishing the game's arcade version before it rolls out to consoles.

It is reported earlier that Harada talked about tekken 7 console versions for Xbox One, PS4 release details during the EVO 2015 panel interview late July. He revealed that for the game's console version, Bandai Namco and the whole dev team would give their full attention to the arcade version so as to deliver its best in creating current gen console version, ultimately, to meet fans' expectations..

Harada added that his team is gathering feedbacks from Japanese gamers for the improvement of the latest addition to the Tekken series and also looking into getting the same survey from various American players now that Tekken 7 as it has already landed in the United States for its location tests. Players can try out the arcade version at the Dave and Buster's and Round One selected areas across the US territories
