Dr. Dre had been quiet for quite a while after the Suge Knight slaying that happened in January, the time they were filming for their promotional trailer for the movie 'Straight Outta Compton.' Suge Knight was not part of the said film, and was not even present during the filming of the movie. 'Straight Outta Compton' is an upcoming film that struggled 13 years before wrapping up.

The Hollywood Reporter had the chance to exclusively interview Dr. Dre and Ice Cube regarding the Suge Knight murder charges, best timing to promote their upcoming film 'Straight Outta Compton.' When asked about what really happened during that fatal day, Dr. Dre said "It's just a really unfortunate incident. Maybe [Knight] was looking for trouble. I don't know."

It happened that Suge Knight just appeared on the set of the promotional premiere of the film and had a row with the technical adviser Cle "Bone" Sloan. Suge Knight then went inside his pick up and ran over Sloan, also hitting another man named Terry Carter, Ice Cube's business associate.

Bone Sloan was rushed to the hospital but later died, where Terry Carter died the moment he was hit by Suge Knight's vehicle. According to Suge Knight, it was the crew members of the film that first attacked him. It was the time he was about to leave the place when the incident happened.

"I was there. But I was just leaving, so I didn't know what happened until I was halfway home. I heard about it over the phone. It's crazy that this happened during the f-ing filming of the commercial," said Dr. Dre.

The film 'Straight Outta Compton' had waited for 13 years before it was finally finished to become a film. According to Inquisitr, a promotional tour reuniting the N.W.A. (Niggaz Wit Attitudes) in Europe will happen which is being planned by Donna Langley (Universal chairwoman).

One of the guests would be Eminem, as he had a part in the OST of the film. 'Straight Outta Compton' will hit theaters August 14 this year.
