Following its big and final DLC release, Call of Duty Advanced Warfare will be receiving special additional bonus weapons as well as gear sets for current gen consoles, Xbox One and PS4 as officially announced by game developer Sledgehammer Games.   

Express Co. UK reports that a set of new guns have been added to the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare game outside of the big expansions and it looks like this will go on. Just a week ago, 3 new weapons with 10 variants have been made available for Xbox One and PS4 but not for last gen PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles.   

"The Blunderbuss, STG44, and SVO weapons are only available on the current generation of consoles (Xbox One and PlayStation 4) and PC," Sledgehammer Games confirmed in a post.

"We are dedicated to providing a wide variety of content to all AW players wherever possible, but in some cases are unable to include additional content on the previous gen consoles due to hardware limitations."

The upcoming fourth pack, 'Reckoning', for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will still be released to Xbox 360 and PS3, though and won't change the DLC Season Pass.

The extra supply drop items have become popular among gamers which shall be continually added to the game while the final DLC is still on the way, according to Sledgehammer Games 

"Keep in mind that this is the first set of three weapons we're adding, and be sure to stay tuned for more info next month for future weapon releases coming next to Advanced Warfare."

It would seem AW fans can look forward to at least one more pack of three guns from the guys at Sledgehammer Games.

The release date of Call of Duty Advanced Warfare fourth and final DLC, 'Reckoning', is yet to be announced and while waiting, fans can look forward to another pack of 3 new more weapons and gear sets to arrive shortly for Xbox One and PS4 versions.
