Google, Samsung team up to roll out Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Note 4 Edge, S6, S6 Edge, S5 devices

After numerous miss encounters with Google's Android 5.0 on Samsung mobile phones, finally Samsung and Google have partnered together to address the long overdue complaints of their loyal followers. The most notable issue of the Android 5.0 is Wi-Fi connectivity issues, battery life issues, notorious lagging and crashing and missing video playback player.

There are more issues that were tagged along with the Google's Android 5.0, but the following are the most common of them all to give users headaches. But, according to a report, Google has found a way to address the issues and with the help of phone manufacturers that uses their operating systems, they can solve these issues one user at a time.

That being said, Korean mobile phone manufacturer giant Samsung has started rolling out their Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge Android 5.1.1 updates in the United States. Updates on other regions will shortly follow, according to online mobile news website Christian Today.  Aside from the Galaxy S6 and Edge, it is also reported that Samsung will roll out the OS update to their Galaxy S5 mobile phones.

Gottabemobile, an online mobile phone review website, published an article of what to expect on the update and these are what they have said. The release dates in other regions have been confirmed but it is still unconfirmed for the United States market, except T-Mobile.

On the other hand, despite that T-Mobile confirmed that they will be rolling out the update, they have not confirmed if it is for Samsung Galaxy S6 or the Galaxy Note 4. Also, the updates for the Samsung smartphones and phablets are expected to address the long and lingering issues of the old operating system but it is also expected to bring new issues along the way.

In order to help the users, both review websites pointed out that users should prepare their Samsung devices for the Android 5.1.1 updates. They should find time to research and read about the update. The users are also encouraged to get feedback from other users. Another important thing that users should also do to research on the problems and fixes of the new Android 5.1.1.
