After comparing the San Diego Comic-con International to some 'genocide' experience, Jesse Eisenberg made himself clear that what he said was not to be taken negatively. According to Eisenberg, he was just overwhelmed with the event. Meanwhile, Michael Rosenbaum, who played Lex Luthor in the TV series "Smallville" said that he was not jealous of Eisenberg being casted in 'Batman vs Superman' of the same role.

Jesse Eisenberg was present in the San Diego Comic-con event before it ended last week and spilled words which obviously he did not take time to think over first. Eisenberg compared his Comic-con event to 'genocide' where most people found offensive, if not very unacceptable.

On Tuesday morning Jesse Eisenberg promoted his film 'The End of the Tour' along with Jason Segel. When asked about his 'genocide' comment, he said "Maybe on some cellular memory level, that's the only thing that seems like an equivalent social experience. Even if they're saying nice things, just being shouted at by thousands of people, it's horrifying."

According to CTV News, on the same day only late in the afternoon, Eisenberg made himself clearer, now with more explanations. He implied that he was just using hyperbole to express his amazement and overwhelming experience in Comic-con.

As the Associated Press was quoted by Metro UK, co-star in 'The end of the Tour' Jason Segel also told the press that 'You're also the villain in the movie. There's like a WWF-style theatrics to it.' Where Eisenberg added 'If I didn't, I'd be the hero who usually speaks pretty practically.'

Meanwhile, before Jesse Eisenberg, there was another Lex Luthor on television played by Michael Rosenbaum. According to Daily Mail UK, Rosenbaum was not jealous when he was not offered the big screen role for Lex Luthor's character. 'I don't hold grudges like "Oh, it isn't me!" Eisenberg will be great,' said Rosenbaum.

Jesse Eisenberg have explained his side on the 'Genocide' comment during Comic Con and a lot is looking forward to his Luthor in "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice." Will he surpass Michael Rosenbaum's Villain in the "Smallville" TV series? Share your thoughts below.
