Jason Statham has recently expressed his desire to return for "The Expendables 4", saying that that he'll do as many as Sly wants. Meanwhile, Arnold Schwarzenegger is still convincing the franchise's front man, Sylvester Stallone, to push through with the sequel.

Even though the fourth installment of the popular action franchise has not been confirmed yet, "Transporter" actor Jason Statham has already said yes to "The Expendables 4" or even 5 -if Sylvester Stallone wants him to. In an interview with IGN, Statham has talked about the significance of working with the "Expendables" mastermind. "Working with Sylvester Stallone is beyond a pinch yourself moment," the British action star said.

Statham has also expressed his admiration towards the actor mentioning the numerous Stallone-starring movies he has watched in the past years.  "And to be directed by him and to be in a movie that he's produced and to be shoulder to shoulder with Sly is a privilege any man who loves action movies would never turn their nose up at", the 47-year-old actor explained. "I mean, it's terrific. I'll do as many as he wants."

While Statham has willingly volunteered for a follow-up film, the franchise's front man still needs encouragement from his co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger to pursue the sequel. It was noted that Stallone has already lost his appetite in returning for part 4 due to the 'leaked Expendables 3' incident last year. According to Franchise Herald, Schwarzenegger is still convincing the veteran actor to continue the franchise because of the "great story".

"I told Sly to write another one or have someone else write another one. A really terrific story," Arnold said in an interview with USA Today. According to him, an ensemble piece with so many action heroes is a great idea especially if the comedy is crafted really well. "It could be a great story. There's definitely room for another one," he added.

As of now, no official word is out yet regarding the fourth installment of "The Expendables". But with Statham and Schwarzenegger ready to board the project, "The Expendables 4" seems likely to happen.
