Yahoo's official launch of its daily fantasy sports league has stirred a joyful gush of excitement among the millions of fantasy users across the world. Yahoo Sports has been a leader in entertaining their fans with highly engaging sports updates, news, events and mainly sports fantasy contests and appealing prizes.

The daily spending cap has outgrown from $5 million to a staggering $257 million in the last three years signifying a huge untapped growth and thus, the new fantasy sports league is claimed to be highly mobile and social with a well-integrated look, Fuchs added.

The league is said to have various sports contests like guaranteed or 50/50 contest. Yahoo will manage all the funds poured in by fantasy users and assures for a secure payment system in place. Pay outs will be through PayPal within two days.

Though users can create their own contests, but this is applicable only for Major League Baseball as of now, more new sports will be kicked off soon in 45 states. However, fantasy fanatics from Washington, Montana, Louisiana, Arizona and Iowa cannot participate in Yahoo Sports Daily Fantasy.

Yahoo's Daily Fantasy sports league is debuting at a time when the daily fantasy sports contest platform is being ruled by names like FanDuel and Draftkings. It will be interesting to see how Yahoo fares in the competition.
