"Bates Motel" will become even more interesting as the story deepens in season 4. Romero and Norma are set to take their relationship to the next level after the former professed his love to Norman's mother. Meanwhile, Emma and Dylan's blooming relationship could face a major hindrance as Norman could possibly try to go between them.

Fans of "Bates Motel" have seen Sheriff Romero (Nestor Carbonell) and Norma (Vera Farmiga) struggle as they become allies throughout the series' 3-season run. But now that the A&E thriller-drama is about to enter its fourth season, fans of the two might see their relationship deepen despite the ongoing complexities in the show.

According to Vine Report, after Romero admitted his love for Norma in season 3, the two are expected to take their relationship to the next level. Perhaps, the Sheriff could also help Vera Farmiga's character in doing whatever it takes to save his son from himself.

Emma (Olivia Cooke) and Dylan's (Max Thieriot) blooming relationship is also something to watch out for in "Bates Motel" season 4.

Towards the end of the season 3 finale, the two shared a passionate kiss after Dylan encouraged Emma to undergo the lung transplant. But their relationship could be ruined by Norman since he will be in full blown psycho mode next season.

According to Design and Trend, during the third season, Freddie Highmore's Norman decided to date Emma to make Norma jealous. No one knows what he is capable of doing as the series enters its fourth season.

Movie News Guide reported that "Bates Motel" season 4 might be slated for a March 2016 return since the first 3 seasons also premiered on the same month. The network also decided to renew the show for a fifth season which is scheduled for a 2017 release.

"Bates Motel" season 4 is gearing up for another exciting season, which will see Romero and Norma in a more serious relationship while Norman might ruin Emma and Dylan's due to his psycho tendencies. The show is set to return to A&E on March 2016.
