The Apple's WWDC 2015 has come and gone with no sign about the iPad Pro. However, the iOS 9 was still able to deliver a lot of hints that the iPad Pro may become a reality soon.

According to the Bloomberg Business report, the iPad Pro release date is set for September. While another recent report  suggests that the iPad Pro release date will not arrive until 2016.

The iPad Pro's simultaneous multitasking ability will be its biggest feature. This is actually missing with the operating system of previous versions. Moreover, Macotakara reports that this iPad will come with a detachable keyboard to square up against Microsoft's Surface Pro 3 and other business-friendly devices.

According to Apple, the iOS 9 will support split screen multi-tasking. The iPad Air 2 is the only iPad that is able to run split screen multi-tasking fully, because according to Apple it requires a lot of power. Nevertheless, this case should be no problem for the iPad Pro, the 12.9in screen, split screen multi-tasking could take the iPad to a whole new market.

The SVP of Software Engineering at Apple Craig Federighi demonstrated how users can run two iOS applications side-by-side that allows them to manage their tasks without switching or closing apps. This PC-inspired feature in a post-PC era looks prepared for an iPad Pro launch.

The resolution of a future iPad Pro also appears to reveal by the iOS 9's code. The code points to a 2,732 x 2,048 pixel display which equals to a 264ppi pixel density if Apple uses the speculated 12.93in display. This should make it easy for developers to scale their apps as the existing iPad line-up has an equal pixel density.

Macotakara states that this device has a set of speakers and microphones along its top and bottom edges attributes which could function similarly to how the iPad 2 handles stereo sound. On the other hand, the Hdblog cited by IBtimes states that the iPad Pro will not only have one but this will actually come with four speakers. Although details are unclear, the report also indicates to the possibility of an iSight camera, Touch ID sensor and Lightning connector.

Macotakara has published again a recent leak that hinted for its release date at sometime between April and June 2015. Furthermore, the said leak suggests that the Apple Company will also launch an improved iPad mini 4 alongside the iPad Pro.
