Resident Evil 0 HD confirmed for early 2016 release will surely give players a lot of fun going back to the roots of the popular franchise in improved form. Of course, those who have not had the chance to experience the plot of the prequel will find it more worthwhile to play later on. The details on the gameplay as well as other features have also been revealed through the demo booth by Capcom. Meanwhile, Resident Evil 7 is still low on updates despite an expected launch this fall.

A recent report on the game noted how Capcom has been preoccupied with polishing previous titles in the Resident Evil series, which may be a reason why future entries are still dim, much like RE7. It is speculated that the technology of Virtual Reality is involved. At the same time, RE Revelations 2 may serve as a way for more episodic elements for the franchise.

Resident Evil 0 HD remaster also has revealed a footage, which can be seen in YouTube. With the game releasing at the start of next year, this video would be an interesting peek.

During the Electronic Entertainment Expo, Capcom had a booth standing for the Resident Evil HD Remaster. Originally, it came out in 2002 for the Gamecube, which followed the first RE game. As narrated in another games report, Resident Evil 0 is set prior to the events of the RE franchise.

In an investigation for violent killings of the STARS Bravo Team along the heights of Raccoon City, Rebecca Chambers ends up being stranded after her plane falls. She ends up having to battle the T-Virus chaos, and eventually bumps into Billy Coen.

As noted in the experience of the demo, the graphics showed marked improvement compared to the previous HD release. While Resident Evil HD also had nice art, the version of Zero appeared crisper. At the same time, there was more of the element of horror, which was not seen in RE6.

When it comes to Resident Evil 7, there are no new updates, just the same as what was previously reported on this site, saying that the title will come out by the fall season of this year. This release will be just around the time that Halo comes out as well.

Resident Evil 0 HD confirmed for early 2016 release, and the remaster will be playable on the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, as well as the PC. Fans of the franchise should be alert for new updates on both the remaster as well as the next title in the series.
