Ever since the sequel of the 2013 hit animated film "Frozen" was confirmed, the Disney movie has already been the subject of many speculations. Among these "Frozen 2" rumors are the possibility of Kristoff and Anna's wedding and more interestingly, themes of homosexuality. But another Disney princess named "Moana" is reportedly set to appear in the big screen first, before Queen Elsa and her Arendelle crew will come back in 2018.

Following the box-office success of "Frozen" which became the highest grossing full-featured animated film of all time, Disney is already gearing up to bring Anna and Elsa back on the screen for a part two. The sequel might still be in its early stages of production but according to Latino Post, the studio, most especially its co-creators Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, is already feeling the pressure of outdoing the 2013 blockbuster hit.

The helmers of the forthcoming movie are already brainstorming some unique concepts for "Frozen 2" to make it as spectacular as its predecessor. Master Herald reports that among the ideas the team of writers has come up is a wedding between Anna and his iceman love interest, Kristoff. But what's more interesting is the rumored inclusion of homosexuality themes.

Lately, Disney has been using bolder themes in its projects so exploring these controversial subjects might work for the sequel. But with the film mainly intended for children, the studio also needs to apply the said themes in an appropriate light.

Other than that, it is speculated that the adorable snowman, Olaf, and Kristoff's loyal reindeer, Sven, are going to have bigger roles in the forthcoming film. Olaf, as per Christian Post's report, will reportedly undergo some modifications as he is rumored to become the Queen's love interest.

The fans might already be excited to see them back in the big screen but another princess named "Moana" will reportedly take the centerstage first before the Arendelle royalties will.  Youth Health Mag claims that Moana will be the next Disney princess to appear in the cinemas as her movie is expected to premiere in 2016.

The icy adventures of Elsa, Anna and their Arendelle friends are expected to return in the silver screen in 2018 for "Frozen 2".
