Microsoft shocked the world at the yearly video game conference, E3, by settling an affiliation with Oculus to showcase an Xbox One controller with each Oculus Rift while partnering with Valve VR for Xbox One games to be streamed to the VR headset.

Late last week, Microsoft certified a joint venture with Oculus that would bring in Windows 10 and Xbox One controller. Now, Microsoft declared a new partnership with Valve VR, an Oculus' key rival, which was predicted to incorporate added games to the company's augmented reality headset, HoloLens, reported on Next Power Up.

Pop Sci stated that Microsoft executive Sax Persson welcomed the stage with the latest iteration of HoloLens. This time, gaming apps of HoloLens were displayed in real-time. Persson illustrated a holographic edition of Minecraft that Microsoft purchased last year for $2.5 billion. On the other hand, the release date of HoloLens wasn't conferred at the convention, sending-off various video game enthusiasts racketing over when they might experience the new headset.

As Microsoft is expanding on its HoloLens augmented reality headset, the software giant hasn't been as closely convoluted in the captivating world of virtual reality at this point. Supporting the Oculus Rift might seem strange with the HoloLens attempt, but Microsoft wants to be ubiquitous these days and it just entered the thrilling business of virtual reality.

As read on The Verge, this is how the Oculus assimilation will take place; you can have Xbox One games on Windows 10. In a great way, Microsoft is both engaging on the sidelines and wrapping its bases concurrently. Instead of mounting its own VR solution for the Xbox, it can basically utilize Oculus'.

However, Sony is set to challenge the Oculus Rift as Sony's Project Morpheus VR headset will start on sale early next year prior to the dispatch of Oculus Rift in the first quarter of 2016.

While Sony is yet to gamble on virtual reality, Microsoft appears to be intentionally inserting Windows 10 at the core of its gaming power. As for what time we can truly check HoloLens and the holographic version of Minecraft stays to be unclear, though it's okay to say we're delighted about the opportunity.
