While Black Panther movie's release is still a couple of years from now, Marvel has reportedly started on casting and choosing the directors for the movie. Black Panther rumored to be taking the side of Tony Stark in Captain America: Civil War.

Black Panther has been scheduled for a 2018 release, and not too many details have been released about the film yet. But although the movie is still 3 years away, Marvel has reportedly started eyeing on directors who will helm the movie.

Reports say that Selma's director, Ava DuVernay might sit on the director's chair as she is being considered for Black Panther. Many Marvel fans agree that she'll give justice to the movie as her Selma was Oscar-nominated for Best Picture and also won different awards from various guilds.

Aside from DuVernay, another director rumored to be helming Black Panther is Rick Famuyiwa who directed Dope. Rumors reportedly started after ex-Latino Review writer Umberto Gonzales tweeted about it saying, "RIDDLE RUMOR: What other DOPE director could be meeting at Marvel for BLACK PANTHER? :)", with that many speculated that Marvel may also be eyeing on Famuyiwa for Black Panther.

But before he appears in his own film, fans will get to see Black Panther in action in Captain America: Civil War. Reports say that he will be on Iron Man's side, and might be dangerous for Captain America. Black Panther's costume reportedly has vibranium in it, which is the same element from which Captain America's shield was made of. In Civil War, he will be seen scratching Captain America's shield, thus considered dangerous for him.

But even though he will be against Captain America's side in Civil War, he will be going on a different aim, as he will be there to look for Bucky Barnes or the Winter Soldier, but it's not just him who's looking for Barnes as Steve and Sam Wilson are also looking for him.

Chadwick Boseman is set to play the role of the King of Wakanda in both movies. More details about Black Panther are expected to be revealed soon. Black Panther will hit theaters inJuly 06, 2018.
