"The Flash" Season 2 might be about losing a character but one will be gaining a new power. It has been reported that Firestorm's new power will involve matter manipulation and it will be shown in the upcoming episodes of "The Flash" Season 2 as Barry Allen could lose Iris West.

"The Flash" Season 2 will reportedly be showing how Barry Allen will choose Wendy Grant over his current love interest, Iris West, played by Candice Patton. Although there have been no reports yet as to who will be playing the role of Wendy, it has already been rumored that she will be the next flame of Barry, played by Grant Gustin, Yibada reported.

In the comic book where "The Flash" was based, Barry and Wendy will be crossing paths because of the work at the Central City Police Department. Wendy will be introduced in "The Flash" Season 2 Episode 2 and the relationship of Barry and Iris will be greatly affected.

Design & Trend reported more spoilers and this time it is about Firestorm who will be more powerful during "The Flash" Season 2 as he will be introduced with a new power. Robbie Amell, who plays the role of Ronnie Raymond in the show, said that Firestorm will be able to have a matter manipulation power. The new power would have been introduced during the final episode of "The Flash" Season 1 but the producers had to cut it out in order to focus on the more important parts of the plot.

Matter manipulation is the ability to rearrange the atomic and subatomic structure of a matter. Franchise Herald reports that it will allow Firestorm to change and transmute the atomic composition of a matter and its shape.

It has been confirmed that "The Flash" will be starting with the filming this July and it will be coming back for its second season by October.
