Comic geeks, get psyched because it has been confirmed: Someone's going to sit on the director's chair of Aquaman.

Furious 7 director James Wan will direct the upcoming DC superhero movie Aquaman. The current president of Warner Brothers Greg Silverman expressed their gratitude that they have James Wan on board on the upcoming project who is currently busy filming The Conjuring 2.

"James is not only a great storyteller but can make action truly explode on the big screen, and Jason has a dynamic presence that commands your attention. Together, they will bring an undeniable vitality and energy to this character as he headlines his first feature film," Warner Bros. president said.

Question is, will Wan bring success to the upcoming DC film just like he did in Furious 7 and The Conjuring? Wan will be working with Jason Momoa, who will be playing the ruler of Atlantis, Aquaman. But is the ruler of Atlantis disappointed with the director of choice?

Everyone knows that Jason Momoa has expressed his desire to be directed by Zack Snyder. Too bad he is not getting what he wants. Snyder's hands are just so full right now. Sorry, Aquaman. But it seems the Aquaman film is in good hands with Wan. He definitely knows what he's doing. As of now, with all the success he has gathered, the director have a lot of film offers including a reboot of 80's movie Robotech.

But before seeing Khal Drogo on his solo movie as Aquaman, you first see him on Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. It mostly like just a cameo but at least the fans are given a glimpse of the ruler of Atlantis.

Are you already to explore the under water world of Atlantis? Well you just have to wait a couple more years since Aquaman is set to debut on July 28, 2018.
