Microsoft HoloLens Release Date, Specs, and Price: Could this device be manuevered through mind control?

With the surprise announcement of the 'Microsoft HoloLens' by the Redmond-based computer technology giant earlier this year during the 'Windows 10: The Next Chapter' event, IT enthusiasts are still speculating with the official release date of the highly anticipated 'Microsoft HoloLens'.

Claimed by its company to be the next pc, 'Microsoft HoloLens' appears to be shaping up a very notable take on virtual reality headsets. While most virtual reality tech companies focus on gaming, 'Microsoft HoloLens' focus more on wide-array of functionalities and uses. Just like PCs, it seems that 'Microsoft HoloLens' will also change the way people do things, and of course, will change the way people see the world.

According to its official website, 'Microsoft HoloLens' is the first fully untethered, see - through holographic computer that enables high-definition holograms that comes to life. It also integrates physical places, spaces, and things seamlessly.

It is composed of specially designed parts that make holographic computing technology possible. Moreover, it doesn't need any support from wires, or other devices for it to function, since it uses the revolutionaryHolographic Processing Unit to process information that users will provide. Well, most gamers been wanting to have a mind-control use of device unfortunately Microsoft Hololens isn't equipped with it.

According to Microsoft, the operating system of the HoloLens will be Windows 10 as Microsoft has committed itself to have applications that run across all platforms. The computer technology giant also announced that the gaming console Xbox will work with 'Microsoft HoloLens'.

Speculations claim that the 'Microsoft HoloLens' will be released together with the Windows 10 operating system. However, since the company's recent announcement did not include the 'MicrosoftHoloLens' in the scheduled July 29 release date for their latest operating system, then the world might not be seeing Microsoft's mixed reality world anytime soon.

As the anticipation of 'Microsoft HoloLens' to be out in the market continues to soar high, it is expected that it won't be cheap. According to New York Times, 'Microsoft HoloLens' will cost "significantly more than just a game console, which runs from more than  $ 400".

However, according to Crossmap, most estimates ranged from $600 to $1200.As for now, we don't knowyet when can we experience a device to manuever through mind-control but with Microsoft Hololens's features we could possibly have it in the coming years.
