Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner has gotten a bit excited that in the course of his talk during the Global Consumer Conference 2015, he basically mentioned that Bumble Bee is likely to be the focal point of their spinoff feature.

Paramount Pictures didn't keep it a secret that their company, together with Michael Bay, are planning to have a bigger project in mind, as far as the future Transformers movies are concerned. In fact, they have aready moved onto the first stages after pulling a creative team with the sole purpose of producing sequels, prequels, and spinoffs of the Transformers Cinematic Universe. Goldner had singled out Bumble Bee because he's the much-loved Autobot among fans of the franchise, young and old. Thus, the brainchild Bumble Bee Movie Spinoff came to into their creative minds.

Does it mean that Transformers 5 would be laid on table indefinitely in favor of Bumble Bee Movie Spinoff? Of course not! In fact, fans are almost rest assured after a recent interview with Mark Wahlberg confirmed his future on the movie Transformers 5. He confirmed his return for the next installment as Cade Yeager, and revealed that it would be happening real soon. He also revealed that Paramount had him signed for a contract for 2 more films and he's committed to do Transformers 5 and 6.  Obviously, Transformers fanatics are just so happy to receive the news. People wish to see what's next with Cade Yeager and his daughter Nicola as the battle between Autobots and Decepticons continues here on earth.

On top of that news, it is not only Wahlberg who will be returning for the 5th installment of Transformers but also Michael Bay himself as the director. However, he has not talk about the plans for the  Bumble Bee Movie Spinoff yet. The revelations came fresh from the mouth of Goldner. Perhaps we would be hearing more as the development of this plan continues.

Though nothing is concrete yet with regards to the  Bumble Bee Movie Spinoff, expanding the Transformers franchise into a different feature is not far-fetched. Hasbro CEO Goldner has said it in an important conference so they must have initially done something about it.
