New faces and new storyline are expected in 'Criminal Minds' Season 11. Latest spoilers revealed that the explicit and violence-filled scenes of the show do not irritate the show's cast members. Star Joe Mantegna defend that it was necessary to put on some lurid materials. Another, its spin-off 'Beyond Borders' is feared not to happen soon.

Many cast members announced their exit from the show for the upcoming season. But this was not because of its lurid material.  Although CBS' Criminal Minds has been at the center of violence-related dialogue, this does not stopped mass audiences from watching it.

In fact, star Joe Mantegna defends the show's more lurid material. He said that the series would lack of respect to the profession if 'Criminal Minds' depicts things any other way.

According to reports, Mantegna and co-star Esai Morales took part in a Reddit AMA, where they responded to the topic regarding former star Mandy Patinkin having left Criminal Minds due to its violent content. They were also asked if either of the actors had ever been heavily affected by it. However, the two made them clear that the striking materials did not bother them.

Magenta also said that 'Criminal Minds' is different from other shows, which doesn't glorify "shooting, or murder." They just show it as it is.

Meanwhile, the possible spin-off of 'Criminal Minds', the 'Beyond Borders', is feared to be cancelled. Fans fears added when reports revealed Anna Gunn's departure.

However, the 'Criminal Minds' may undergo a lot of creative tweaks between the pilot and the series. Unfortunately, 'Beyond Borders' plot was already spoiled during the last season of the series. So, everyone knew about the character.

CBS programming Nina Tassler, on the other hand, revealed that the recasting will fill in a lot of Gunn's character. While this may be a good cover up, the future of the 'Criminal Minds' spin-off is still on the line.

Fans, are you irritated about the show's explicit and violent scenes? How about the possible cancellation of spin-off? Sound off your comments below for 'Criminal Minds' Season 11 spoilers.
