After Kris Wu and Luhan left EXO, it seems like Tao is next one on the line. Disbandment rumors also swirling as Lay, will be the only Chinese member in the group left if Tao's exit from the group ever gets pushed through.

Several cases have been filed against each other by SM Entertainment, the company which houses the South Korean group EXO, and ex-EXO Chinese members, Kris Wu and Luhan. Kris Wu and Luhan both first filed lawsuits regarding breach of contract against the network. Reports also say that Luhan accused the company of discrimination, saying that unfair treatment has been given to EXO-M members, comparing to how the entertainment company treated the members of EXO-K. SM Entertainment also reportedly filed lawsuits against Luhan and Tao stating that the two should not promote themselves as individual artists, as they still have contract with EXO.

Rumors are now circulating about another EXO Chinese member Tao, leaving the group. Tao's father posted in Weibo, about his decision to make his son leave the group. In his post, he reportedly talked about the entertainment company's lack of support for his son's career saying "The night I went to Korea, the company talked to me about Zi Tao's future, saying that as promised from the start they would make a special team to enhance his performances, of course I was happy to hear all these details,"

"The company said that after Zi Tao signed the agreement, they would announce it along with other members'. However, with only this final step missing, and myself in Korea, the company revealed the future plans for the other members...I wanted to say so much that I drew a blank. Zi Tao did not get the company's support, instead only returned with an injured body, in that case, what was all our perseverance from the start worth?" because of this, he reportedly told his son to leave the group.

These Tao exit rumors, are slowly gaining its foundations as reports say that Luhan recently changed his Instagram bio from "EXO-Tao" to Z Tao. Although the singer hasn't confirmed or denied anything yet, reports say that the change in his Instagram bio might be a sign that he's leaving the group.

Aside from that, disbandment issues are slowly starting, as EXO Tao's departure spread. If Tao's exit pushes through, Lay will be the only Chinese member left in the group. SM Entertainment has kept mum about the issue.

EXO debuted with 12 members, which comprised of 4 Chinese and 8 South Korean members called EXO-M and EXO-K.
