Good news for Divergent fans- the third film in the franchise, Allegiant (although the movie's full, extremely long name is The Divergent Series: Allegiant- Part 1), has just begun filming! Lionsgate and director Robert Schwentke are shooting the film in Atlanta. Just like the last two Divergent films, Divergent and Insurgent, Allegiant stars Shailene Woodley as Tris, Theo James as Four, plus Octavia Spencer, Naomi Watts, Ray Stevenson, Zoe Kravitz, Miles Teller and Mekhi Phifer.

New to the third Divergent film are Jeff Daniels, Bill Skarsgard and Nadia Hilker. Daniels will be playing the leader of the Bureau of Genetic Welfare, rumored to be the villain in the final two Divergent Series films. The final book in Veronica Roth's Divergent series, Allegiant, is being split into two parts for the film franchise.

Anyone who's read the Divergent novels probably knows what's coming in the next Divergent film, but just in case anyone needs a reminder, here's a recently-released synopsis for the film.

"After the Earth-shattering revelations of Insurgent, Allegiant - Part 1's Tris (Woodley) must escape with Four (James) beyond the Wall that encircles Chicago to finally discover the shocking truth of what lies behind it."

Things might get a little bumpy during the filming of Allegiant- Part 1. It was recently revealed that Theo James has a thing for his co-star Shailene Woodley's legs- and that James's girlfriend might be getting jealous of the two stars' chemistry. It can't be easy when your boyfriend regularly makes out with someone else and millions of people pay to see it.

Hopefully everyone's able to get through the last two Divergent films without their personal relationships imploding. And if they implode, we'll certainly hear about it- Woodley and James's relationship is potent tabloid stuff already. The Divergent Series: Allegiant - Part 1 hits theaters on March 18, 2016.
