Kingdom Hearts 3 is one of the most highly anticipated games by fans, primarily because of its diverse gaming experience as well as the fact that its name as a franchise has become very successful.

However, in terms of its development and eventual release date, only bits and pieces have been available for players to learn about. Overall, though, these will still be useful in finding out the direction to which the Square Enix title is headed to in the coming months.

Considering that E3 is less than a month away, this is the first occasion that comes to mind for a major reveal for Kingdom Hearts 3. FranchiseHerald takes note of a report that affirms this possibility. However, with the tendency of Square Enix to push the releases of their games past their intended schedule, fans should be prepared for unmet expectations.

Another event, nonetheless, that the game could make an appearance in should it take beyond E3 to reveal needed information would be the D23 Expo in Japan. The said event will be help on November 6 to 8. This is a good 5 months away from E3 which will be held this coming June 16 to 18.

While there is still a lot to divulge about Kingdom Hearts 3, its development is being teased by game director Tetsuya Nomura. He shares, "We have some interesting things planned... There will be KH3 news, and various things, I think. Development is going smoothly, but there will also be new announcements connected to it."

Aside from the title itself, Nomura also hinted on a smartphone-compatible game which will also be revealed around the same time. In addition to this, game designer Tai Yasue explains that the change to Unreal Engine 4 also contributes to the time taken for the development of Kingdom Hearts 3.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is a very exciting game which opens a lot of possibilities as imagination is the limit. Players should expect a host of new characters, like that of Star Wars cast and Captain America, and new weapons to try out when the game comes out. Stay tuned for more updates whether the title will make it to E3, and for future leaks on its features.
