Released in 2004, 'The Incredibles' was a huge success. And for Brad Bird, making the sequel is a big challenge. Many superhero films were made in eleven years, and this means it ain't easy creating another animated superhero film that would touch people's taste in movies.

According to reports, the plot would be about the change in the Parr family, as it was a long time ago and the lead characters have aged already. The parents, Helen and Bob Parr would pass their 'heroic responsibility' on their children. Unfortunately, their youngest son would be a little problem.

Jack-jack, as it was reported, would turn rebellious and cannot control his superpowers. Then the super villain 'Syndrome' will take advantage of Jack-jack's weakness, and will push him on becoming the evil one.

Brad Bird said that he loves the characters of 'The Incredibles,' but he's also a moviegoer and he wants to be surprised by movies. "I want them to zig when they should be zagging. That's the goal with that one," he said."

Brad Bird might really be pressured on making the sequel, but he definitely is thinking more to create yet another film that would surely blow up the minds of the audience. "So that's kind of the challenge. People make a lot of following some of road map and Damon and I can tell you from making this film that you're just bumping into furniture. Hopefully if you're on the right path you don't actually know where you're going completely," said Bird.

The first film was released in 2004, and it's pretty obvious that many years have passed before an actual sequel to follow. But then, it is on Brad Bird's hands that will make another box-office hit. No release date was yet confirmed, but it was rumored to be on 2016 or 2017.
