Lions Gate Entertainment announces the return of Keanu Reeves in the John Wick 2 sequel. Following the worldwide success of John Wick in 2014, John Wick 2 is currently in development as co-directors Chad Stahelski and David Leitch are cooking up big ideas for the movie's comeback.

Lionsgate studio has confirmed a sequel to John Wick film, a 2014 break-out hit, declared by Co-Chairmen of the Theatrical Motion Pictures Group, Rob Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger. The movie received positive feedbacks from critics along with the huge fan base of Reeves, which grossed $80 million from a mere $20million production.

John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves is back in John Wick 2 a follow-up from the unexpected huge success of the original movie. The plot of John Wick is outrageously simple, a group of Eastern European hoodlums steal Wick's car by mistake, and kills his dog. He then sought revenge and kills the villains-with jam-packed action.  The main reason why John Wick was a hit is the patronage of millions of Keanu Reeves fans, who had grown up with his films. Stahelski and Leich, along with screenwriter Derek Kolstad are working on coming up with fresh and incredible concepts for John Wick 2, which includes developing John Wick's character. One thing is for sure; Reeves will come back even more "badass" with lots of shooting villains.

Director Chad Stahelski shares "...You love the guy first. Good action, bad action, you just love them in action. So we want to make sure we have a story and a character that everybody loves and then we'll dress it with action that we promise will be awesome". John Wick fans highly anticipate more stunts and more of Reeves's remarkable charm.

John Wick 2 is claimed a breakout sequel from a relative box office triumph. Lionsgate studio has not yet announced the release date. So stay tuned for updates!
