If most assumptions are right, Winds of Winter, the 6th installment of A Song of Ice and Fire, will be released by next year, probably the second half of 2016. While there are excerpts that can be seen from George R.R. Martin's website, the self-confessed slow writer will need a lot of time should he want to finish the entire book. For now, let us give you some of the latest information about this much-awaited manuscript.

If your eyes and brain are hungry for some good reads, then you can try reading the following books. This might temporarily satisfy your craving for Winds of Winter. We have 'The Wit and Wisdom of Tyrion Lannister' if you want to know more about this intelligent character. We also have 'The World of Ice and Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and the Game of Thrones'. This will give you some side-stories about different 'houses'.

One article shared that Stannis might surrender to Daenerys. But fans are quick to throw this theory. They believe that Stannis will never do such as the throne is his by rights. And according to prophecy, Tommen, Shireen and Cersei will die. Hence, he will be the only one that could take on the throne.

Meanwhile, we shared from our last report that Benjen Stark will not be seen in the next installment of George R.R. Martin's book. This has been confirmed by the author himself so let's not have our own theories about this.

One thing is for sure though, George R.R. Martin is trying his best to work on the Winds of Winter. For the past weeks, news circulated online that he already bumped off some of his engagements and interviews in order to focus in finishing the 6th book of A Song of Ice and Fire. We waited for several months, why not prolong your patience for another 12?
