A dozen of new shots from the production of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" were just released, giving a first sneak peek at Laura Linney's role and returning stars Megan Fox, Will Arnett as well as the turtles. Photos also show possible spoiler of turtles talking to Laura Linney in broad daylight. Myles Humphus was expected to play Rocksteady.

The snapshots revealed Laura Linney sporting a badge and plainclothes cop/Federal Agent-type outfit, which drew speculations that Laura Linney might be playing Agent Bishop. The Agent John Bishop managed the Earth Protection Force back in the 2003 animated series of the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," and formed an alliance with Baxter Stockman, who was a mad scientist experimenting on aliens but later had a redemptive arc.

It was also said that it could be possible that the John Bishop character might be "reimagined" in this sequel as a female, or Linney perhaps was playing a "new character modeled after Agent Bishop." Other theories said that it was possible Linney was taking the role as an NYPD Detective, and that the police department was hunting the Turtles to search for answers.

Another image also saw Michaelangelo and the rest talking directly to Laura Linney openly and in broad daylight. The images were reportedly coming from the same scene in the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2." As to why the Turtles were talking to Linney in broad daylight instead of hiding was due to the Turtles being lambasted and were going to save face.

Along with Megan Fox and Will Arnett, other artists would be joining in the cast such as William Fichtner as Erick Sacks, Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman, Brian Tee as Shredder, and Stephen Amell as Casey Jones. Other characters that were expected to return were the recently confirmed Bepop (a mutated warthog) and Rocksteady (a mutant rhino), who were working with Shredder and the Foot Clan. Myles Humphus was said to be playing as Rocksteady in the sequel.

The original movie starred Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Danny Woodburn, Johnny Knoxville, and Tony Shalhoub. With the cast, the film reportedly grossed around $485 million in box office worldwide.

David Green would be directing the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2," with the film slated to hit theaters on June 3, 2016.
