Castle, ABC's hit police procedural TV drama series pursues this week with an episode that will focus on the murder of a personal-injury lawyer. Although, talking about the series' season 8, still in "limbo."

A summary for the forthcoming episode reveals that Castle (Richard Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) will be going to the colourful world of personal injury attorneys when someone named Richie "The Pitbull" practitioner, "larger than life" was murdered.

Castle and Beckett will then examine Richie's many competitors and clients to search for leads on the case. On the other hand, as the probing goes deeper, they find out some shocking discoveries that may be related to the murder.

A series of promotional images released by the network shows  guest actor Roshawn Franklin being getting chased by detectives Esposito (Jon Huertas) and  Ryan (Seamus Dever) which hints that the character may be related to the lawyer's death. Recent reports say that it is not yet sure if the series will get another season in the network. Dever said he still didn't get any feedback about the 8^th season.

"I don't know [what's] going to happen, and, to be honest, no one has talked to me ... about next season. I'd like to have some answers because my family wants to know if I'm going to be employed. But right now it's really up in the air." News also say that Katic may leave the show, and her character might be killed in season 8.

Katic also shared her views on her social media account that season 7 might be the last for the show.On the other hand, David Amann, executive producer stays positive about the renewal issue and assures more thrilling developments for the current season. He added that they have planned a bunch of various scenarios, but their main focus now is their viewers and giving them a great show.
