If fans of the popular fighting game "Street Fighter" are getting weary of the mundane features of the "Street Fighter IV series" then this must be an innovation as Capcom has now confirmed the release window of the upcoming sequel "Street Fighter V." This must also be a massive project as the Japanese developer company is expecting to sell two million copies of the game by the end of its current fiscal year.

With Capcom's success resulting to unveil its latest earnings report, it revealed that "Street Fighter V" will launch during its current fiscal year, which will conclude on March 31, 2016. As we remember, it was previously speculated that the new version of the popular game will be released in Spring 2016, and the rumors have factual basis at all.

As of now, the upcoming game is in development for PlayStation 4 and PC. It was also reported to feature cross-platform play between both systems. Xbox One users must be moping about this intel, however.

Capcom's "Street Fighter V" was announced in December as a PS4 and PC exclusive. Just last month, veteran designer of the game Yoshinori Ono sat down with Edge magazine to brag about how "Street Fighter V" will deliver "something that nobody is expecting." Ono also detailed that they are creating something with a larger scope and something that includes all the success of the games in the last few years.

Gamers should also not worry as Ono guaranteed that it will cater them. Moreover, the game is yet to debut next year but Capcom is already confident with its success. According to Gamespot, Capcom is expecting to sell two million copies by the end of its current fiscal year. This extrapolation includes sales in both physical and digital formats.

For now, no further announcements have been released yet, but the company has confirmed to include Ryu, Chun-Li, Charlie and M. Bison to the game's roster. And if fans are still dubious, Capcom has likewise announced that it plans to run a public beta test before the official launch of the game and asserts that it will be the "largest and most ambitious online beta program in franchise history."

Fair enough. Are you hyped with the new features to resurface in the game? Regardless of its release for two operating systems only, do you think Capcom can reach its goal of two million copies? Share us your views today on the comments section below!
