Barcelona wins over Bayern Munich last Wednesday night with Lionel Messi's lead. Messi left everyone speechless in the recently concluded first leg of the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League. Lionel Messi scored two goals against Bayern goal keeper Manuel Neuer and set-up Neymar for another goal leading to Bayern's defeat, 3-0.

Everyone is wondering what Pep Guardiola had in mind while seeing Lionel Messi running around against his team mates last Wednesday night, May 6 leading Barcelona to a n overwhelming win against Bayern Munich. One of Messi's breath-taking moves that night included a three double with a pass from Ivan Rakitic at the top of the 18-yard box. His tremendous peed backed up with an unpredicted change in direction made Jerome Boateng fell allowing him to see a clear view of the goal from the 6 yards mark. He successfully chipped Neuer and scored one of his two goals for the night.

Lionel Messi passed Neymar from the midfield for a breakaway and scored past Bayern's Neuer from the 14 yards mark after a foul from Bastian Schweinsteiger. This completes the 3-0 score that leads Barcelona to the second leg of the semis. The second leg will be in Tuesday in Munich. If Leonel Messi's teams win, this is the first time their team will reach the finals in the UEFA Champions Leagues since winning their fourth European title back in 2011.

Messi's tally of 77 goals is also now currently the tournament's new lifetime record. History is indeed being changed by Lionel Messi's speed and playing prowess.
