The new KISS Pinball machine made by Stern Pinball Inc. boasts of a rework of the vintage original 1978 Bally Original pinball machine.

Iconic Rock and Roll Hall of Famers KISS have a newly modernized vintage pinball machine, reworked from the original 1978 Bally game which stayed in circulation for well into the 80s.  IGN reports that the new KISS Pinball machine was made as a vintage replica of the original.  Stern Pinball Inc. employed the original artist Kevin O'Connor to design the original hand drawn artwork from the 1978 version to maintain the original, vintage feel.

KISS has been around bringing rock to the world since 1973 and the band has solidified themselves in the industry with one of the most animated and original stage makeup, custom outfits, and elaborate live performances to date.  The band is known for their vigorous stage antics complete with pyrotechnics, spitting blood, smoking guitars and levitating drum kits.  The seasoned musicians were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 10, 2014.

KISS will be on a European tour by the end of this month.  The band will be at the Rockavaria Festival in Munich, Germany on May 30 and then at the Rock Im Revier Festival in the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on the 31st.  Tickets for sale for their June 2 O2 Arena show in Hamburg, Germany have yet to be announced.  After a short hiatus, the  band should be back on track for their Australian tour by October.  More info can be found on their official website.

KISS stage personas Starchild, the Demon, Catman, and Spaceman have been known to inspire merchandise across the board.  Retail merchandise that have their images and insignia splashed across them include Marvel comic books inked with the band's actual blood, KISS dolls, makeup kits, Halloween masks, board games, lunchboxes and bubblegum trading cards.

The new KISS Pinball by Stern includes Gene Simmon's head spitting out a mean Blood Dripping Demon Bass solo.  The pinball machine also blasts a total of 10 Kiss hits: Deuce, Hotter than Hell, Lick It Up, Shout It Out Loud, Detroit Rock City, Calling Dr. Love, Rock n Roll All Night, Love Gun, Love It Loud, Black Diamond.  KISS legends Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley worked on custom call-outs for the game.  Players can plug in their headphones for the best gaming experience with Stern Pinball Inc.'s new standard CPU board.

The new KISS Pinball is available in several versions: Pro for $5,995, Premium for $7,595, and Limited Edition for $8,795 available through authorized Stern Pinball distributors and dealers around the world.
