Waiting for Tekken 7 can only feel like mental torture for fans who just want to get their hands on the game already. With all the new characters being featured, trying out the different combat techniques they have to offer is something to look forward to.

In the past few days, though, there has been little word about Tekken 7. In terms of the characters of the game, the latest Bandai Namco has unveiled would be Gigas. The character has a mutant-like body covered in a red suit with metal plates and wiring. However, there is no human voice or face noted, as reported in GamesEspresso.

Looking at the past news on the characters, the roster already includes several exciting characters inspired from different parts of the map. There is a Saudi Arabian army fighter named Shaheen. Having the ability to magically produce a weapon from his hands would be Italian combatant, Claudio Serfino. Josie Rizal, on the other hand, is a kick boxer, following the Philippine martial arts. There is also a new villain, although unplayable, by the name of Devil Kazumi.

Tekken 7 was already released in Japan last February 2015 as an arcade game. Soon enough, it will also make an appearance in the USA as an arcade version. Initially, there were some worries that the game's arcade keys were compromised after the robbery in the Seattle MadCatz office.

Fortunately, Mark Julio who is the company's Community & Sponsorship Manager announced on Twitter that all is well for the Texas Showdown which will be held this weekend. In addition to this, Chicago will also be sharing the experience during the Combo Breaker event later this month, on May 22 and 24.

This July will be the EVO 2015, where more announcements about Tekken 7 will be given. Gamers should hope to hear about the release dates for consoles on or before this point.
