"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part - 2" will be the last installment for "The Hunger Games" franchise and lead actress Jennifer Lawrence verbalized her sigh of contentment to the small development of her character's relationship with that of her on-screen best-friend Liam Hemsworth.

Lawrence, playing the role of Katniss Everdeen, believes that there is a lot more to see between them as Gale Hawthorne (Hemsworth's role) has been there for her ever since the beginning.

"I loved that Katniss and Gale have such a rich history, which we've never been able to fully, fully explore to the extent we do in this film," expressed Lawrence in an earlier post.  

She might have also conveyed her slight irritation with her character's faux romance with Josh Hutcherson's Peeta Mellark.

"Up until now it's always more about Katniss and Peeta. But there are so many complexities to Katniss and Gale and that relationship because before Katniss went into the Games, Gale was the only person who really understood her and knew her because they grew up together," Lawrence added.

If that is interpreted correct, then luck might just be in her side as there were speculations that Peeta's attack on Katniss on the final stages of "Mockingjay - Part 2" will finish their romance, too.

Lawrence acknowledged her friendship, though, with her two handsome co-leads with the trio sometimes seen together grabbing dinner. Lawrence admitted that she especially became closer with Hemsworth and even helped nursing him during his breakup with Pop singer Miley Cyrus.

On the side note, fans of Mockingjay will totally engage in a "new level of immersion" as the movie will be screening in 3-D which is also the first in all of its franchise.

Director Francis Lawrence is the most excited about the news telling Variety that, "I'm thrilled Mockingjay - Part 2 will be in Imax theaters".

He recounts, "We recently saw the 3-D version of Mockingjay - Part 1 before its release in China, and the new level of immersion was really fantastic."

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" will hit cinemas on November 20, 2015 with Katniss realizing that the stakes are up with it being not only for their survival but for their future as well.
