Forza Motorsport 6 will finally be released during the holidays this year, according to Microsoft Director of Marketing for Xbox Aaron Greenberg.

Anticipation for the exclusive release for the Xbox One game heightened in gaming circles ever since Microsoft made the announcement of its development by Turn 10 Studios earlier this year.

Greenberg confirmed the Forza Motorsport 6 availability in an Xbox gamers interview on the Inner Circle podcast.

The latest Forza version is scheduled to be released on the Xbox One console exclusives from Microsoft together with Rise of the Tomb Raider, Quantum Break, Halo 5: Guardians, and Fable Legends.

Xbox One is billed as the all-in-one new generation player for games and entertainment allowing the user to jump from television to movies to music to a game in an instant, promising a more engaging Forza Motorsport experience.

The Forza Motorsport 6 racing video game will reportedly feature the all-new Ford GT as its cover star, and other Ford muscle cars including the Shelby GT350 Mustang, and the F-150 Raptor.

Turn 10 Studios Creative Director Dan Greenawalt also announced that the reveal for Gameplay for Forza Motorsport 6 will happen in June 16-18 at the E3, the world's premier trade show for computer, video, and mobile games and related products, to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Turn 10 Studios, a subdivision of Microsoft Studios, is the creator of the Forza Motorsport franchise.

Microsoft Studios is the video game production wing for Microsoft responsible for the development and publishing of games for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Games for Windows 8 and 10, Windows Store, and Windows Phone platforms.

The upcoming release of the Microsoft-Turn 10 Studios new video racing game is timed with the 10^th year anniversary of the Forza racing franchise. The first Forza Motorsport was released in 2005 for the original Xbox.

Forza Motorsport 6's predecessor, Forza Motorsport 5, was released in 2013 and was the first Forza on the new Xbox One console.
