Xiaomi today is not just "Apple of China" but of many other countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and India. After proving itself to most of the Asian countries, Xiaomi Inc. is ready release Xiaomi Mi 5 later this year, 2015. It will run on a new and improved MIUI7 operating system with rumors of the specs being circulated.

Xiaomi Mi 5 will feature a 5.2-inch QuadHD (2560 x 1440) and is said to be equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 with 64 bit computing and octa-core processor (4 Cortex-A57 and 4 Cortex-A53 cores).

This processor is designed for real most advance mobile user experience like streaming Ultra HD 4k videos. With the increase on processing power we are also expecting a bit of improvement in the battery as well, with the previous Mi phone equipped with 3080 mAh of battery power this time the battery will be around 3200 mAh.

The new phone will also feature a 20.7 MP camera. With other phones offering cameras with much higher megapixels Xiaomi Mi 5 is definitely lagging behind in the race of higher megapixels. To make up for this, Xiami Mi 5 will come with an ISOCELL chip which will render much better imaging in the dark as ISOCELL allows each pixel to isolate which in turn allows the sensor to collect more light per pixel resulting in a higher lighted image. It will also feature a wide-angle snapper on the front for selfie enthusiasts.

Xiaomi Mi 5 is expected to come with a 4 GB of RAM and in 3 storage memory variants: 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. Price rumors tell that the upcoming phone would be around $399 or 1850 Yuan.

If you're not familiar with the MIUI operating system, it very much works like Androids but with a beautiful iOS-like interface, blazing speed, and tons of extra features. If you've become a bit bored with the way iOS and Android looks and works, MIUI is a completely different experience.
