The latest update for Super Smash Bros 4 is the much awaited character patch for Mewtwo. This is very timely as a lot of gamers have been complaining about the glitch when using the character. The patch is for Wii U and 3DS, with a file size of 21mb for Wii U and 1,715 blocks for 3DS.

For those who have been using Mewtwo in Super Smash Bros 4, you might have been frustrated when the dialogue box appears to prevent you from going online. This is a glitch in their character, according to Nuntendo, and they are sorry about it.

To make up for all the hassle it has caused its players, Super Smash Bros 4 has released their latest character patch 1.0.7. Download this patch and it will fix the glitch on the Mewtwo character. This is one patch you won't need to go to the eShop for, you can actually do it from within the game itself. All you need to do is head over to the DLC shop and you will be prompted for an update. Do so and your game will be fixed.

Aside from fixing Mewtwo's glitch, the latest character patch also brought in a few minor changes to the game. For starters, the "custom moves" in the Smash Bros characters for those who own Mewtwo DLC can no longer be accessed. And another modification is the ability to view replays from 1.0.6. Rather small issues in exchange for a better Mewtwo character, if you ask me.

The character patch 1.0.7 is now available for download for both the Wii U and the 3DS. Remember, no need to go to the eShop, you can execute the game update through the DLC shop within your game. Once you've downloaded and updated your game, you can now freely use Mewtwo in all of Super Smash Bros 4 game modes.
