Oscar Pistorius case has been the center of media hype for quite some time. Almost every week, you would read news about the case and the people involved in it. The case became even more popular when the judge assigned for the trial, Judge Masipa, decided that Pistorius is guilty for culpable homicide and not murder. She has received mixed reactions, mostly negative, from the followers of the case.  What are the updates about this controversial judge? Read on for more information.

According to one source, Judge Masipa was being questioned about her leadership by the judicial commission. They believe that Judge Masipa gained a negative image after her verdict on Oscar Pistorius case. Judge Masipa on the other hand, thinks that the criticisms are not about her but about the outcome of the case. She also mentioned that as a judge, she must respect such criticisms as these aren't personal. Apparently, for some, they take Pistorius case too personal.

For the past few months, a lot of sources reported about Pistorius life in prison. While some aren't good - threats and his choice if eating tinned foods - most are actually good news for the athlete's supporters. If you must know, he was given a number of benefits inside the prison. To be more specific, he has an extra allowance if he wants to treat himself for a decent snack. He can also wear some of his luxurious watches and can even have more phone calls outside. And to top this, he can already have physical contacts with his visitors if he wishes to. It seems that he was not having a hard time most especially in a leaked video where he was caught playing a soccer. You can watch the footage from here.

Now that Oscar Pistorius will have to face murder charges in the higher court, do you think he would still be able to enjoy himself? Do you think he can still appreciate all the so-called benefits given to him in prison? Or will he now be guilty for murdering Reeva Steenkamp? Will Judge Masipa's initial verdict be ruled over? Let's just wait for more updates on this.
