Originally announced to be released this 2015, new Uncharted 4 update suggests it will not push through. Naughty Dog, developer, decided to compromise on the release date to have more time on discovering and delivering the potential of the game. This comes as both bad and good news for players heavily anticipating on the game since Uncharted 3 revealed that Drake has got some secrets behind him.

Though, Naughty Dog has not been greedy with information. To compensate for the delay, they already have the summary for Uncharted 4 out. Moreover, it will be taking place three years after the events of Uncharted 3. In addition, the lead character has learned to settle down and leave treasure hunting behind him until his to-be-named long-lost brother appears.

If this is not enough teasing, Neil Druckmann, lead writer and creative director, posted a mysterious screenshot on his twitter account. For the information of the uninformed, it was a picture of an ending of a script that only read two lines; "Cut to Black" and "THE END". He also included a hashtag of AThiefsEnd, stating that it is about the upcoming Uncharted 4.

Is this something that will literally come out in the game or was it an implied message from the developers that the game is already finished? As of now, nobody can tell and that is just creating more publicity and excitement. Nevertheless, it creates one clear message, developers are placing a lot of attention on the game.

With the current progress of development, Uncharted 4 might really reach stores by the year 2016. If people are lucky, it may come as soon as the year makes an entrance. Though, getting trapped in assumptions and speculations is quite tough especially if it does not happen. As a result, might was well wait for further Uncharted 4 update before getting hopes up, or down.
