Outlander returns with an all-new episode on Starz. The historical romance will showcase yet another heart-stopping episode as Claire and her friend Geillis both stand trial for the crime of witchcraft.

The latest Outlander Season 1 spoilers have revealed that Claire learns about Geillis' secret while Jamie will attempt to rescue both Claire and Geillis. It is not revealed what Geillis' secret is, but fans will surely be shocked by the revelation as it is not to be expected of her character.

"For my character particularly, Geillis, she's going to be really surprising. You're going to see a side of her you haven't seen before. Things are going to heat up quite a bit," said Lotte Verbeek who plays Geillis in the show.

It was revealed in the previous episodes that Claire discovers Geillis dancing in a somewhat ritualistic sort of dance in order to "be with Dougal." She then reveals that she is pregnant with Dougal's child. Later, Dougal's wife dies and Geillis' own husband dies in a choking incident.

The spoilers also reveal that Geillis will also have even more "ballsy" actions as the season progresses. It was shown that Geillis showed no remorse over her husband's death, and even seemed gleeful when she saw her husband die. Fans are yet to know the motives behind her strange actions.

"As much as she's described as a charming, lovely person to meet at first, Geillis goes really far in order to get what she wants and the way she does it is very ballsy. She definitely did risk [being victim] to that stuff and she almost seems to take joy in taking those risks. It's almost sadistic." said Verbeek.

Both women are revealed to be in a dark pit as they await their trial. Claire seems to be have lost hope as she sees that there is no one coming for them. Will both be found guilty for the crime of witchcraft?
