A Harry Potter 8 Book Sequel will not be expected, at least for now. J.K. Rowling has recently announced that she does not think that this is going to happen although she did not say that it will never happen in the future.

NO BUT NOT NEVER

The Harry Potter 7 Deathly Hallows has concluded the book series. As to the possiblity of another sequel, the author in an interview directly said that this is impossible.

"But I think Harry Potter 8, as in what happened next to Harry, Ron and Hermione, I don't think that's going to happen."

However, she did not directly say that she is closing her doors.

"I keep saying that I feel I wrapped Harry's story up...I have always said I'm not going to say I definitely won't, because I don't see why I should say that", she said.

STILL FOR CHILDREN

What is sure and clear for now is that J.K. Rowling is still continuing to write for children. A report says that she is doing a Harry Potter-like story, but in the form of a movie entitled Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The said movie refers to the fictional book mentioned in the Harry Potter series.

Another report says updates and dissertations in relation to the Harry Potter series can also be seen on her Pottermore.com website and the last series will hopefully be included soon. The author is that committed to focus on children. As a matter of fact, she is busy with her charity organization Lumos that aims to address the concerns of orphaned children around the world.

So whether or not a Harry Potter 8 Book Sequel happens or not, fans especially children will still get to experience J.K. Rowling's magical works either in the movies or through her charitable acts.
